Leading provincial trainer Kris Lees looks set to be represented at Dubbo on Friday after nominating three chances for the eight-race meeting.

Lees’ hopes were three of the 149 nominations received for Friday’s meeting, which comes off the back of a successful Silver Goblet event earlier this month.

Last-start winner Broodwar, Let’s Get Nauti Gal and Eastern Paradise have all been put forward by the Newcastle-based trainer.

Broodwar has won two of nine careers races but both victories have come in her past four starts, and she has been nominated for the Class 2 Plate (1140m).

Let’s Get Nauti Gal and Eastern Paradise have both been nominated for Class 1 Hanidcaps, over 1340m 1300m respectively.

The former has shown promise this preparation, having scored a win and a third-placed finish in two starts. Eastern Paradise has one win from seven starts.

Final fields are released on Wednesday afternoon.
