Dubbo College Year 12  students have snapped up the chance to be more knowledgeable and confident when they sit trial Higher School Certificate (HSC) examinations in a few weeks.

They are taking part in the college’s first specialised July school holiday tutoring program.

“This really is a great chance to engage with our teachers, get more information and examine the finer points of the syllabus,” 17-year-old Year 12 student Ashlee Finch said.

“To know that our teachers are coming in and providing us with strong support adds motivation to our study program.

“I have been able to take advantage of the tutoring in between work commitments and I think it will give me an advantage when it comes to the trials.”

Dubbo College executive principal Stacey Exner said it was creating opportunities to ensure the future success of students.
