The men in red, white and blue have impressed this season and last week’s win over Narromine, coupled with the Nyngan-Macquarie draw, saw Moran’s troops create some breathing space between themselves and the Tigers.
On Sunday, the Spacemen play host to Macquarie and Moran said his players are enjoying their footy at the moment.
“Their attitude is good and the morale and atmosphere is good,” Moran said.
“They’re more confident and we’ll need that going into the next two games.”
The clash with the Raiders is followed by a game against Dubbo CYMS, the current undefeated leaders, but Moran is fully focused on this weekend before looking to the Fishies.
“Macquarie is pretty strong,” he said, before saying his side needs to lift again.
“We need to focus on our forwards and our completion for the second half.
“We don’t want to give them any chances.”
“We’re doing a lot better this year [compared to last year.
“We’ve just got to keep it up and just stay focused on us.”
The league tag kicks off the day at Jock Colley Field at 11am with first grade expected to start at 2.30pm.
