Dubbo Regional Council officers are continuing to get out and about to survey people about their ideas for the future, and advise that “everything’s on the table”.
The council has invited the input as it works on a new draft 2040 Community Strategic Plan.
Members of the 2040 plan team have been surveying shoppers at various locations, and will be at Delroy Park Shopping Centre from 10am to midday on Friday.
A second round of forums at the weekend will be the culmination of summits series, council city strategy services manager Steven Jennings said.
“We’re going to try to take a lot of these great ideas that we’ve been hearing from the community and really take them to the next level, work out who’s going to look to deliver some of these things in the future,” he said.
“Are they short, medium or long-term items, financial implications as well.
“If you didn’t come to the first round, you should come to the second round.
“Every idea is a good idea and everything’s on the table.”
On Saturday morning council staff will be at the Dubbo Farmers Markets and Mr Jennings encouraged people to come along.
“You might even score a free coffee voucher,” he said.
