Glenn Keys, who is also the Canberra Business Chamber chair, will be addressing local businesses on Monday, June 26 at the Milestone Hotel.
Canberra Business Chamber CEO Robyn Hendry will be accompanying Mr Keys to Dubbo for the CEO Speaker Series presentation at 6pm.
The duo will also be touring the city’s major business precincts including the Dubbo Regional Livestock Markets, Apex Club’s Caltex Park, Barden Park and Taronga Western Plains Zoo.
Dubbo Chamber of Commerce President, Matt Wright, said he was looking forward to showcasing the region to Canberra Business Chamber executives.
Mr Wright said he hoped by holding the event in the evening, as opposed to previous breakfast presentations, would allow for different businesses across the region to attend.
“Glenn Keys is really passionate about corporate social responsibility and giving back to the community, which is something I’m really looking forward to hearing him discuss,” Mr Wright said.
“It’s extremely important for all business owners to look at giving back to the community,” he said.
Council’s Jacki Parish said the visit from the Canberra executives was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the city’s major business precincts.
The last speaker in the series was Star Entertainment Group CEO Matt Bekier. Dan Gregory from the Gruen Transfer and Gold Rhino winner Transforce have also spoken in the past.
The CEO Speaker Series is a collaboration between the Dubbo Chamber of Commerce, Dubbo Regional Council and Fly Pelican.
