The DMRL held the open day to launch its most recent display, the interactive and informative Drug Info Hub.
The Hub is on display for the next few weeks at the local library and allows the community to access easy to read and up-to-date information on drugs, alcohol, plus much more.
The open day was a fun and educational experience for visitors who not only got to see what a standard sized drink is, but were able to try on ‘beer goggles’ and taste mocktails.
DRC Youth Development Officer Jason Yelverton said said it was great to know that people want learn more about these substances.
There were representatives from the Dubbo Regional Council, Salvation Army and community workers in attendance.
As well as the interactive display there are a range of pamphlets.
