A covert police operation targeting the supply of illicit drugs at Dubbo and Wellington has resulted in seven people going to jail.

The offenders came before Judge John North in the District Court at Dubbo this week to be sentenced.
It was almost 12 months after police executed nine simultaneous search warrants as part of Strike Force Eurong and located methylamphetamine – ice – and other drugs.
The investigation used phone intercepts, audio and visual surveillance and undercover operatives.
The five men and two women sentenced this week had all entered early guilty pleas.
Gary Paul Bruce Dunn, 48, of Dubbo was sentenced to a maximum term of five years and six months in jail for taking part in the supply of a prohibited drug – not cannabis – at a greater than indictable quantity.
A 36-month non-parole period was set and he will be eligible for parole in January 2020.
He was also convicted of six counts of supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis and jail terms were imposed.
Lyall Andrew Kennedy, 33, was sentenced to a 36-month jail term, with a non-parole period of 20 months for taking part in the supply of a prohibited drug.
He was also convicted of supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis and taking part in supplying prohibited drug, and jail terms were imposed.
Leanne Rachel Stewart, 50, of Wellington received a 30-month jail term with a non-parole period of 18 months for supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis.
She was also convicted of two further supply charges and received jail terms.
Jacinta Anne Ross, 46, of Dubbo, received a 26-month jail term with a non-parole period of 14 months for one count of supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis.
She was also convicted of three other supply charges and was jailed.
Kyle Thompson, 31, of Wellington received a maximum 28-month jail term, with a non-parole period of 16 months for one count of supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis.
Shane Elliott, 42, of Dubbo, received a 32-month jail sentence for one count of supplying a prohibited drug on an ongoing basis, with a non-parole period of 20 months.
He was also sentenced to a jail term for supplying a prohibited drug.
Bryce Cunynghame, 27, of Wellington was sentenced to a maximum 24-month jail term with a 12-month non-parole period for one count of supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis.
He was also sentenced to jail terms for supply prohibited drug on an ongoing basis and two counts of supplying prohibited drugs.
Hayden Butler, 26, earlier pleaded guilty to one count of supply prohibited drug on an ongoing basis and the matter was adjourned to August 7 for sentence.
