The 28-year-old sportsman and businessman suffered severe spinal injuries playing reserve grade for Dubbo CYMS against Wellington on June 4, with fundraising efforts through a variety of avenues already surpassing the $110,000 mark.
The special online auction is generously being facilitated by Pickles Auctions, with the final list of items set to bring in some serious dollars for Mr Medley, his wife Casey and their families.
While there is something for everyone, the big ticket items will include:
- Two VIP tickets to The Voice grand finale plus accommodation
- 2 x two tickets to days 1-3 of the SCG Test match against England
- 2 x four tickets watch Arsenal v Western Sydney Wanderers
- A State of Origin game three experience, including flights from Sydney to Coolangatta and accommodation
There will also be signed and framed football jerseys from various clubs, as well as a Queensland jersey signed by Dane Gagai from game one of this year’s State Of Origin series.
Also sure to draw plenty of interest are some wonderful holiday and accommodation packages, a meet-and-greet with Paul Gallen and a game-day experience with the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Full details on the entire catalogue of items up for grabs will be available on the website www.pickles.com.au from 9am on Wednesday, with bidding to continue through until 10pm on Thursday, June 29.
“We’ve had so many generous donations, now hopefully we can have some generous bidding,” Dubbo CYMS chairman Kevin Walkom said.
