The unbeaten CYMS have a four point lead on the ladder and are shaping as the team to beta for the minor premiership after their 40-16 win against Nyngan. They have a maximum of 12 points after six rounds.
The Tigers remain on eight points, along with the Parkes Spacemen and Forbes Magpies.
Parkes got the win in the derby against the Magpies, which was played a week early on the June long weekend to join the logjam.
Macquarie have moved into outright fifth place after their victory against the Cowboys with six points.
Narromine have also moved up from equal last on the ladder after their victory over Westside.
They are now just two points behind Wellington and two points clear of Westside, who are still looking for their first win.
