The local region has plenty of reason to watch the Wallabies take on Scotland on Saturday with Dubbo Kangroos junior Tom Robertson to pack down in the front row while Coonamble product Ned Hanigan will earn his second Australian cap.

But even before the whistle blows for kick-off Dubbo rugby fans will be tuning in to see young Kangaroo Max Rumble lead the national side out.
He will carry the Australian flag, alongside Kinross Wolaroi Orange student Charlotte Haling before the Central West under 16s sevens side meets the Central Coast in a curtain-raiser to the Wallabies clash with Scotland.
In terms of the match itself, Scotland has vowed to attack a Wallabies side which defeated Fiji 37-14 in last week’s first test of the season.
The Scots have becoming a thrilling attacking force, with flyhalf Finn Russell leading the way, but Wallabies co-captain Michael Hooper said his side is focused on building.
And not just building form on the field, but also support off it.
Australian rugby has taken a battering in 2017 as the ARU dilly dallies around its decision on which team to cut from Super Rugby, with the Brumbies, NSW Waratahs, Queensland Reds, Western Force and Melbourne Rebels losing all 21 games so far to New Zealand provincial opposition.
"We want our fans to be proud of us as a team and us as a Wallaby club," he said.
"It's hugely important. Momentum is such a factor in rugby.”
