“I smile and have fun. And I picture everyone in their undies,” she said.
The nine-year-old dancer comes from Mudgee. On Wednesday she performed in the modern solo, classical solo and contemporary solo sections of the Dubbo eisteddfod, but overall Zahli said it was the demi that she most enjoyed.
The reason? “It’s fun,” she said.
Zahli said she took part in a lot of the eisteddfods. The best in her opinion was the Mid Western Eisteddfod.
As a lover of dance, the little ballerina said she thought it was something more people should take part it.
“It’s fun and it uses up your spare time,” she said.
It was a jam-packed program at the eisteddfod on Wednesday, which mostly included the improvisations and solos of the 12 years and under performers.
The dance program continues on Thursday. First up will be the contemporary solo for 11 and 12 years only, followed by the jazz improvisation and then the duos and trios.
