The Best of the Eagles Concert was a captivating two-hour tribute show celebrating The Eagles’ greatest hits and solo works giving fans the opportunity to relive the days of their music.
A 300-strong crowd enjoyed a songfest of classics including Desperado, Take it Easy, New Kid in Town and Heartache Tonight, according to Dubbo Regional Theatre manager Ms Linda Christof.
Then there was the legendary hit, which has become the The Eagles signature number – Hotel California.
The signature harmonies and musicianship of The Eagles were recreated to perfection, she said.
The show will be long remembered by fans both young and old.
The Best of the Eagles followed other recent tribute shows celebrating the Bee Gees and the Beach Boys
The City of Dubbo Eisteddfod, showcasing the skills and talent of Dubbo’s young people, will be staged at the Dubbo Regional Theatre throughout June.
The theatre will be busy in July presenting Kitty Flanagan’s new show Smashing, Mark Vincent’s concert, You Raised Me Up, and a great drama starring John Wood in Bakersfield Mist and Harrison Craig in his concert Kings of Vegas!
