Officers patrolled the annual fair on each of the three days, however they reported patrons and show workers were all very well-behaved.
Meanwhile, officers from Orana Local Area Command will take their Coffee With A Cop promotion out of Dubbo for the first time on Thursday.
The community interaction event will be held at Soul Food Depot in Narromine from 10pm, with Acting Superintendent Scott Tanner and Inspector Dan Skelly among the officers that will be in attendance.
“We want to show to the communities within the Orana LAC that we’re not just Dubbo police, and in time we’d like to take it to Wellington and Gilgandra as well,” Insp Skelly said.
“Coffee With A Cop gives us a chance to mingle with the residents of the town and listen to their concerns.
“We’re looking forward to taking it to Narromine for the first time.”
