Jack Pink, 19, and his sisters Marina, 17, and Destiny, 15, were killed instantly while travelling in two of the three vehicles involved in a collision about 30 kilometres south of Boggabilla about 6am on Monday.
The trio come from a well-known show family, and were travelling home to Queensland after being involved in the three-day Dubbo Show, which wrapped up on Sunday.
“The Pink family has been attending the Dubbo Show for many years,” Mrs Hood said in a statement to the Daily Liberal.
“Glenn Pink, the father of the children, was brought up from a young child attending the Dubbo Show. He and his family had been here in Dubbo for the last two weeks.
“They are a hard-working family, trying to make a living travelling from show to show, and to have this tragic accident happen after leaving a good weekend at the Dubbo Show is devastating to the Pink family and also the wider community of the Showmen’s Guild of Australasia.
“The committee of the Dubbo Show Society extend their sincere condolences to the family and wish for Glen and his family to know that the wider show community is here to support them.”
Police are continuing their investigations into the cause of the accident
Investigations suggest a fuel-tanker that was travelling south on the highway collided head-on with a Pantech truck towing a trailer, being driven by Jack Pink.
It appears the tanker then rolled onto a Land Cruiser 4WD, which was carrying Marina and Destiny Pink.

The 32-year-old driver of the fuel tanker was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Goondiwindi Hospital, and later Toowoomba Hospital.
A crime scene was established while investigations were carried out by officers from the Crash Investigations Unit.
