Competitors from across the region competed for the trophy.
Dylan Smith, who traveled from Bathurst for the event, said he had been woodchopping since he was three-years-old.
It was something his family had always done, he said.
The best part about it? Mr Smith said it was travelling to the shows with his mates.
Around 40 people compete in the woodchopping at Dubbo Show each year, making it one of the largest competitions outside the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
The action was spread across one-and-a-half days covering underhand, standing block, tree-felling, double handed sawing and chainsawing.
