It is taking on Lithgow Zig Zag.
As the Panthers outfit has added to its reputation with a string of premierships and grand final appearances, an always dangerous Zig Zag has become more consistent.
So much so that not only was Zig Zag responsible for eliminating the Saints from last year’s finals series, but the Lithgow outfit currently leads the 2017 competition.
Like St Pat’s and Panthers, Zig Zag has won each of its three games so far this season and thanks to a better for and against record, holds top spot.
The Saints can leapfrog Zig Zag on Saturday with a win, something the side managed just once in four meetings last season.
Saturday’s match commences at 2.30pm at Bob Roach Field.
