The Dubbo Show kicks off on Friday and runs until Sunday.
There’ll be something for everyone, Show president Chris Edwards said.
“We’ve got so much stuff you’ll be hard pressed if you can’t find something you like,” he said.
“We just want people to come along and enjoy themselves.”
With so much on offer, even the president himself couldn’t choose what he was the most excited about.
The biggest worry for us is the weather and it’s looking like it’ll be a sunny weekend.

“It’s hard to pick one thing. We’re starting out strong with a busy program on Friday. We’ve got the harness racing, the speed shearing and Adam Brandt performing. It’s hard to make a choice,” he said.
Saturday will include the Grand Parade, the Showgirl presentation and the performance by Team D-MAX. The night will be capped off with fireworks at 8pm.
If that’s not your style, Mr Edwards said there were also the sideshows and rides.
“Some of the rides and sideshows are really quite high-tech. I don’t think I’ll be going on any, they’re a bit hair raising,” he said.
This year the Show Society has also developed their own showbag.
“The biggest worry for us is the weather and it’s looking like it’ll be a sunny weekend,” Mr Edwards said.
“There are possible showers forecast for Sunday afternoon, and that would be the best of both worlds. We need a bit of rain in the region.”
After a rainy show last year, Mr Edwards said all he was hoping for this time around was for a few more people.
“Gate entry is not overly dear, it’s $12.50, then you can have a look at anything. You only have to pay to go on the rides,” he said.
It had been more than a busy few days, the president said, it had been a busy, busy few weeks. And once the 2017 Show was over, Mr Edwards said they would start preparing for next year.
