Australia A one-day and four-day squads were announced last week for the tour with the former Western Zone quick named in both.
Usman Khawaja and Travis Head will captain the respective four-day and one-day squads.
The four-day squad features five players with Test match experience – Khawaja, Glenn Maxwell, Jackson Bird, Ashton Agar and Hilton Cartwright in a talented squad.
Tremain is one of four quicks in the 14-man squad alongside Bird, Chadd Sayers and Jason Behrendorff.
Tremain and Behrendorff are joined by Scott Boland and Kane Richardson in the one-day fat bowling cartel.
"We have opted for a well-balanced squad featuring some experience blended with younger players, with an emphasis on building our depth for the future," national selector Trevor Hohns said.
