Tritton and his wife Lauren brought two chances to contest Sunday’s heats from their Menangle stables and both won through to Friday night’s $30,000 Group 3 final.
My Rona Gold was a convincing winner of the first heat while Im Twice The Delight finished third in the second and final heat.
“We’ve won it a couple of times and we just love the club here,” Tritton said after My Rona Gold’s win.
“We love to come back whenever we’ve got one good enough.
“It’s a good club and she is a good mare who suits this series so it’s good to get through.
“She’ll only get better. She’s pretty tough and likes the tough racing racing.
“It’s going to be a good final, there’s obviously a lot of good mares in it but we’re happy to get through.”
Chris Geary drove both of Tritton’s chances.
