EARLIER: Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a man missing from the Central West.
Francis Bates, known as Frank, was last seen around 2:30pm on Thursday, May 18 in Orange.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare as his absence is out of character.
Investigators have released an image of Frank Bates in the hope that someone may recognise him.
Frank is 64 years old about 170-175cm, solid build, shaved grey hair, of Caucasian appearance and brown hair.
Investigators believe that Frank is currently in Central West NSW. He is believed to be travelling in a red or maroon coloured 2009 Holden Commodore sedan with NSW registration plates BPE13T.
