The trainer-driver huband and wife team have two hopes set to line up in Sunday’s heats before the final of the $30,000 Group 3 series on Friday, May 26.
My Rona Gold will go around in the first heat in the eight-race meeting at Dubbo Harness Club, before I’m Twice The Delight follows that.
I’m Twice The Delight appears the main hope, having won at Menangle in a mile rate of 1:54:6 while she has scored nine wins from 49 starts in her career.
My Rona Gold has only raced in Australia four times since making the move across to the Tritton stables from New Zealand but has impressed, having scored one win and two placings.
The six-year-old scored three wins from 12 starts when racing in New Zealand.
My Rona Gold will start from gate four in the opening heat, with Jarrod Alchin’s Ima Mystery Girl another leading contender.
Ima Mystery Girl has scored two wins and a second in her past three starts, the victories coming at Penrith and West Wyalong.
As well as the main Red Ochre heats, there will also be two heats of the Little Red Jug series and a Garrard’s Golden Gig heat contested at Dubbo Harness Racing Club on Sunday as well.
Racing starts at 1.31pm with the Red Ochre heats set down for races six and seven on the card.
