To be staged on courts in Bathurst and Orange, including the Kinross Wolaroi School facility, the event has attracted teams from the Central West, Blue Mountains, Upper Hunter, Riverina and Central Coast.
“This year we have 41 teams, which is about 160 players altogether, it would have to be the biggest tournament in New South Wales,” Fuller said.
“I’ve been running it for 34 (years).”
“We’ve got teams from Bathurst, Orange, Condobolin, Denman, Dubbo, Grenfell, Wallerawang, Cowra, Parkes, Wagga, Springwood, Forbes, Rylstone and Wyong, so that’s a lot of different towns.”
The battle for the A grade men’s title is shaping as a hot one. Grenfell is the defending champion, but Fuller said its four-player team will face stiff opposition.
