Saturday May 6, 10am: Orana Writers' Hub, the Saturday group of the Outback Writers' Centre, Board Room of WPCC (near museum). Bring 10-12 copies of your own writing to discuss or come to discuss the work of others. 300 word challenge is Myths or Mysteries. Morning tea with gold coin donation. New members and visitors welcome. Plenty of parking and a coffee shop as well.
Tuesday May 9: NDIS recruitment Information Session - An information session will be held at Dubbo Branch Civic Administration building, Church Street Dubbo on from 1pm-3pm. Thursday May 11: Dubbo Support Group of Arthritis NSW meeting will be held at the Dubbo Neighbourhood Centre, 1/80 Gipps Street commencing at 2pm. Please bring a plate for afternoon tea. Friday May 12: Join us at the Dubbo Neighbourhood Centre for the Dubbo Public School P&C Association 75th Celebrations. The centre at 1/80 Gipps street, will be hosting a fundraising barbecue to commemorate the Dubbo Public School’s P&C 75th birthday. There will be a breakfast starting from 8:30am as well as a morning tea and lunch. So come along and support the Dubbo South Public School P&C by purchasing a sandwich and some merchandise that will be available. It will be a great day full of laughs and generosity. Wednesday May 24: The Post Adoption Centre: will be holding a Adoption Connections Meeting in Dubbo at the CAC Classroom Western Plains Community Arts Centre, 76 Wingewarra Street, 6 - 8.30pm, there is no cost and tea/coffee and snacks will be provided. The meeting is an opportunity for people affected by adoption, and their family members, to find out more about the search and reunion as well as discuss "down the track" issues. It also provides the opportunity to connect with other people in a similar situation.
