Kyrgios, trained at Tamworth by Melissa Dennett, has won his past two starts and looks set to be in action at Dubbo on Monday having been nominated for the Benchmark 65 Handicap (1400m).
Monday’s meeting will be a seven-race event with a healthy 147 nominations received by Tuesday.
That number could rise further with nominations still open until 11am Wednesday for the Benchmark 65 Handicap and the Class 3 Handicap (1300m).
The former appears the day’s best race with Kyrgios, coming off victories at Coonamblke and Armidale, set to go up against local contenders Baites, trained by Frank Hayes and Garry Lunn’s Kingtantes, which won last start at Orange on March 20.
Final fields for the seven-race meeting will be confirmed on Thursday.
