Matters of State: April 25

I have said for years now that the Dubbo electorate has been, and continues to be, home to many talented people. We have great sportspeople, painters, writers, poets and musicians. That is why it is important that we identify and support emerging talent. I have decided this week to focus just two talented people in our region recently recognised for achievement in their respective fields. The Mid-Western Regions Jayden Muir who has received a NSW Government $10,000 arts scholarship and Dubbo athletics track star Millie Gooch who has been awarded the NSW Government’s State Representative Award not once, but twice.
