If you’ve got a great business idea and need a way to launch it onto the world, get your plans together now and create a business proposal.

Applications for Australia Post Regional Pitchfest are open until April 28.

The Australia Post Regional Pitchfest is designed to help realise the potential and celebrate the success of Australia’s rural and regional entrepreneurs, artisans and small businesses, by providing a platform for them to pitch their business or idea to a live audience and expert panel; combined with a program of workshops, mentoring, prizes and promotion.

The NSW final will be held in Dubbo in July, before the winner progresses onto the national final in Wagga Wagga.

Regional Pitchfest Founder Dianna Somerville said amazing entries from across the country were altready flooding in but there were still people sitting on their ideas.

“A lot of people have asked us the same question: Is my idea good enough? The simple answer is that an idea is worth nothing if you don’t do anything with it. We all have to start somewhere, and the Australia Post Regional Pitchfest is an encouraging, inclusive and low-risk way of taking that next step.”

As well as the Pitchfest competition itself, finalists will be offered opportunities to grow their business idea with networking events, workshops, and mentoring to improve their business connections, build their confidence and get to the next level.

Applications for Pitchfest are available online at www.regionalpitchfest.com.
