The 16 artworks have been on show at National Trust properties in Sydney, Yass, Armidale and the Blue Mountains.
They were among 700 artworks entered in the NSW Reconciliation Council’s challenge for school students in year 5 to year 9. The challenge offers young people the chance to engage with Aboriginal cultures, histories and issues in a “stimulating and creative way”.
The Dundullimal Homestead Shed Function Centre will host the exhibition from March 31 to April 22, with entry free of charge. It will be accessible from 11am to 3pm Tuesday to Saturday, excluding Good Friday.
NSW Reconciliation Council co-chair Cecilia Anthony said: “Thanks to the generosity and support of the National Trust, we are able to bring these artworks closer to home for people in the Dubbo region who are interested in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, cultures and issues.”
