Cameron Greenhalgh's team has won four from four this season, the most recent the 44-10 drubbing of the Greater Northern Tigers at Bathurst’s Carrington Park.
As well as the perfect record, the side has piled on 148 points and conceded just 36.
The Newcastle Rebels, the side the Rams will play in the grand final at Cessnock next Saturday, also heads into the match undefeated and while the 132 points scored is similar to that of Western, the side from the Hunter has allowed 66 points scored against, almost double that of the men in green and white.
The under-16s match also appears hard to pick on paper, with both sides having similar records.
Both grand finalists, Kurt Hancock’s Western Rams and the East Coast Dolphins, lost one match during the preliminary rounds.
Western’s loss was an error-filled 20-6 loss to Bidgee at Parkes while the Dolphins were beaten 21-20 in a thriller against the Newcastle Rebels in round two.
The Rams under-16s side has scored 126 points this season and allowed 80 against while the Dolphins are more impressive, having scored an eye-catching 158 points in four games while allowing just 37 in.
The grand finals will be played at Cessnock on Saturday with kick-off times to be revealed later this week.
