The DubVegas Torana Cruz will draw people from around the country from May 5 to 8, said organiser Craig Triplett, for a chance to show off their beloved vehicle.

Mr Triplett, whose Torana was initially his father’s, said he knew how much Torana owners loved their cars, and after attending other car shows, thought the weekend would be an interesting way for them to get together.

The weekend will include a visit to Taronga Western Plains Zoo, a gala dinner and a display of the colourful Toranas at Coffee and Cars.

While this will be the first of its kind, Mr Triplett said he hoped to make the cruz an annual event.
