Dr Shannon Nott, an inspiring junior doctor who hails from Dunedoo, was the speaker at the event on March 10.
Dr Nott is the founder of Future Health Leaders, an organisation representing health professionals in-training which aims to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to health issues.
He was recently awarded a Churchill Fellowship to research the role of telehealth in delivering care to remote indigenous communities.
Dr Nott’s achievements have seen him win prestigious awards including Australian Medical Student of the Year, and recently runner-up from AMA's Junior Doctor of the Year.
Despite his busy schedule, in June 2016 Dr Nott also made time to ride 1000km on horseback across Mongolia.
