Dubbo’s Rehab and Recovery Centre will continue to accept voluntary admissions, a Western NSW Local Health District (LHD) spokesperson has said.

But they have not ruled out changes to the service.
“The tender process to provide social and emotional wellbeing services at the Rehab and Recovery Centre at Dubbo recently closed after the contract period for the previous service provider expired,” the spokesperson told the Daily Liberal in a statement.
“The contract will be for three years.
“Western NSW Local Health District is always looking at ways to improve all our services, including our mental health, drug and alcohol services, to ensure our local communities receive the best health care available.”
NEAMI National currently operates the centre after being awarded the tender to run the service when it opened in 2013. That contract has now expired.
The successful tender will be announced before the end of the financial year, with the new contract to commence on July 1.
