The Dubbo trainer will be hopeful the mare can turn her form around on Monday when she lines up from out in barrier 11 in the Ecoscapes Solutions Orange Cup Prelude (1600m) at Orange’s Towac Park.
In two starts this preparation, both also at Orange, Anytime Baby has run eighth both times.
The wide barrier draw is makes this difficult again this time out but with the experienced Jeff Penza in the saddle Greig will be hopeful her mare can get the better of a field which includes fellow Dubbo gallopers Grass Cutter and Lukey, trained by Dar Lunn, the Garry Lunn-trained Kingtantes and Peter Nestor’s Dane De Lago.
Anytime Baby hasn’t finished in the placings her past five starts.
Orange’s seven-race meeting starts at 1.55pm with the Cup Prelude at 4.55pm.
