Rex is a 15-month-old male, Cattle dog cross Kelpie.
Staff at the Dubbo City Animal Shelter commented that he most likely has more Cattle dog in him than Kelpie.
Rex absolutely loves attention and affection.
He is a very kind dog and would be good for a family with older children.
He does have some energy and so would need to be taken on regular walks to help keep him active, but despite his breed Rex is quite a calm dog.
Staff at the Dubbo City Animal Shelter commented on his very friendly nature.
As he is still fairly young, Rex would strive with some basic training, but his two working dog breeds should help him master basic commands pretty quickly.
His original name was Rex.
