“We just want to show support to our local community groups,” AST director Samantha Kerr said.
“My girls were involved with scouts and guides and it’s nice to give [kids] something else to do than be on their devices.”
Guides leader Wendy White said the rescue swag would come in handy for the guides’ upcoming camping trips.
“I actually feel assured that there’s going to be up-to-date first aid equipment on hand … if anything goes wrong,” parent support group member Tracey Marr said.
