In 2016 Real Pet Food Company (RPFC) commissioned the Rotary Club of Dubbo Macquarie to run a monthly staff barbecue, in return for $1000 each month.
On Thursday they celebrated their tenth barbecue, and $10,000 injected into the Dubbo community.
“It’s very rewarding and we’re exceptionally proud,” RPFC factory manager Sue Wood said.
“It builds community spirit with the employees and with the wider community.”
“It’s a symbiotic relationship,” Rotary Club of Dubbo Macquarie president Steve Cowley said.
“We’re very happy to be a part of it and it has proved to be a real win for Dubbo.”
