The award winning team have won Australian Psychic of the Year, with Ezio winning in 2012 and Michelle in 2015.
They said the show is to let people in the audience know that although their loved ones might not be here physically, they are still with them and they’re ok.
The couple will be making their way to Dubbo next month as part of a short tour.
This will be about the sixth time they have made the trip to Dubbo and both agreed they were looking forward to coming back to the City.
“The last time we were in Dubbo was November 2015 .. we like to come back every 12 to 18 months,” Ezio said.
“We always enjoy coming back … and the room at the Dubbo RSL is very intimate. It’s one of the best rooms to work in.”
They duo have been busy doing shows and it looks set to be that way for the remaining of 2017.
“Every show is different,” Michelle said.
“As is every person and spirit.”
Ezio agreed saying they always get surprised at their shows and the spirits that come through.
“We’ve even come across some really famous Australian criminals,” he said.
“We had Mark ‘Chopper’ Read come through one time because a friend of his was in the audience.”
Ezio said although there have been those random times when someone like Chopper comes through, there are moments, especially in rural towns, where members of the audiences have all known the spirit who has come through.
“As much as a famous person coming through is different, our work is for everyone. Everyone grieves and it still hurts,” Ezio said.
“We love what we do but we take it very seriously.”
They said it was surprising to find out the number of first timers that go to their shows, with almost half of them almost always in the audience.
Ezio and Michelle both agreed the work they do can be a roller coaster of emotions.
“Before a show you can have symptoms such as constant fatigue, headaches. It’s very draining before a show .. with the spirits coming through” Ezio said.
Michelle and Ezio often get recognise when visiting their regular towns, and Michelle was even recognised while boarding a flight with her mother.
“But for us it’s saying that we’re really touching people’s lives,” Ezio said.
