Held over three days at the Dubbo Regional Thetre and Convention Centre, Dubbo Craft Alive is always a popular event for our regions craftiest locals and visitors.
Now in its fifth year of coming to Dubbo, Craft Alive focuses on the latest craft trends, supplies, creative hand finished products, do-it-yourself products, homewares and creative workshops.
Craft Alive event manager Rachael Karpman said she was looking forward to coming back to the City.
“It’s one show we always do .. it’s one of our craftiest towns’ Ms Karpman said.
“The locals are just fantastic and the Dubbo show is just fun.”
There will be something different this year with two new areas of interactive studios.
This year will also focus on more ways to learn.
Ms Karpman said depending on weather, the Dubbo Craft Alive show can have anywhere from 3000 to 4000 people attending.
Ms Karpman said there will be something for the whole family to enjoy with everything from candles, to jewellery, soaps, quilts and everything in between.
“It’s just a great family friendly event,” she said.
The Dubbo show has had much positive feedback, with comments on the Craft Alive website coming from people with a range of skills and experiences.
One of the comments came from Tammy, who said "CraftAlive has opened up my eyes to being creative again, fantastic you bring the craft world out to us!"
A feature of this years series is the inspiring Quilt of Hope display, which will be a feature at the show, with colourful quilts on display, all made by generous ladies.
The locals are just fantastic and the Dubbo show is just fun.
