Dubbo leads the way in the competition and a win at Cobar will all but seal a home grand final.
But a loss could see the side drop back to the back to the pack, with Nyngan in particular lurking not far behind.
Dubbo had won each of its matches this season but winning at Cobar now easy feat, with the side from way out west almost always fielding a stronger side when playing at home.
The competition leaders will also be without captain Matt Ellis, with experienced wicketkeeper Dan French to takes over the reins.
French will have a number of batsmen and bowlers to call upon, with the Dubbo side having unearthed a number of new representative talents this summer.
Adlai Shipp starred last match with a five wicket haul while the likes of Ben Knaggs, Pat Berryman and Justin Knudsen have all impressed at times in the competition.
