The $30,000 sprint has attracted a number of outstanding talents, headlined by Andrew Molloy’s Zarhron, one of the region’s most outstanding gallopers.
There will be much expectation surrounding the seven-year-old, who has scored back-to-back wins at Cowra and Bathurst after a pair of runs in Sydney.
If he is to make it three straights win it will be an impressive achievement as he has been handed 66kg to carry on Sunday, with the next heaviest the 60.5kg to be carried by Kylie Kennedy’s Shadow Force.
The race features a number of in-form horses with Playing Game, Danish Lace, Lake Lugarno, One Last Poet and In Ernest all lining up.
The sprint is at 4.05pm.
