There were a constant stream of customers going through the doors of the Talbragar Street business on Tuesday as they looked to shower their loved ones with gifts.
"It's not just a day. It's almost a month-long process to be prepared for events like Valentine's Day, along with Mother's Day. There's a lot of long hours but it is all worth it," The Meadow owner Irissa Knight said.
The store was doing a large variety of bouquets and arrangements for customers but also offered a variety of balloons and non-floral options.
“Personnel mixed bouquets with lots of colour and variety of textures are popular,” Ms Knight said.
“We've definitely got a few of the traditional rose orders but we put our contemporary spin on them so they don't look dated.
“They look fresh and young and beautiful.”
“We've been doing singergrams that are being sent out with flowers, people are getting serenaded which has been fun. Big heart balloons are also popular.”
