Munro claimed 4/32 as the Tigers made 148 and he then he finished unbeaten on 55 as Bluey’s reached the target with two overs to spare and five wickets in hand.
The win was the Tigers’ first of the season however they are still guaranteed to finish on top of the ladder.
Bluey’s Meats moved into second spot behind the Amaroo side after the victory, however, is still not guaranteed finals action with two matches still to be played.
The Amaroo Hotel Tigers lost a couple of early wickets after winning the toss and batting but father and son duo Charlie Kempston (26) and Mick Kempston (27) kept the runs ticking over.
Tgers skipper Mat Skinner lifted the run rate further but wickets fell around as the likes of Will Grant (2/21) and Jacob Bruce (2/27) kept chipping away.
Munro then entered the attack late on and picked up the key wicket of Skinner (42) before tearing through the lower order to help dismiss the Tigers inside the 20 overs.
He and Jordan Moran (55) added 67 for the third wicket in a key partnership during the run chase. Boundaries in the max over late on helped Munro past 50 as Bluey’s won with 12 balls to spare.
Despite the win, Bluey’s needs the Western Plains Automotive Cougars to stun Christies Crackerjacks later this month to stay in the top three.
A finals place is on the line this Friday when the Bob Berry Blasters play the Castlereagh Hornets.
