The organisation will start its next training intake at the end of February for a program called Reconnect.
Lifeline Central West crisis support services manager Stephanie Robinson said the program was vital for people who were struggling with mental health issues, including depression and suicidal thoughts.
“We get told all the time that it is quite often the difference between life and death, that is the extreme,” she said.
She said training starts from February 23 and 24, then each Tuesday morning for eight weeks.
