Ben Rosenbaum struck early for Rugby Red, removing Hayden Lew (9) but that brought Berryman and Naden together.
The pair began piling on the runs almost immediately and took the game away from their opponents. Naden fell for 51 but Berryman and Ryan Maxwell (17 not out) saw their side through.

In reply, Souths Green was reduced to 3/11 early and never recovered.
Matt Wakely (3/9) did the early damage and while Asher Azam (35) tried to salvage things, Ram Haridharan (3/28) helped roll Green for just 87.

Newtown Black’s top four hopes were dealt a blow when suffering a six wicket loss to Newtown Gold at John McGrath 1.
Newtown Black was dismissed for 126, with Warren Dodd’s 22 late on the best score while Dylan Hamilton was the best of the Gold bowlers with 3/31.
Despite losing an early wicket and three in quick succession midway through the chase, Gold was always in control. Josh Battishall (46 not out) and Garry Milliken (31 not out) guided their side to victory while Jack Pettit took 3/26 in the losing effort.
