But that will be easier said than done, with Souths missing a number of key players while opponents Rugby will be keen to bounce back from two successive defeats.
The Hornets, in second spot and three points ahead of nearest rivals CYMS, has not named the likes of Scott Tucker, Henry Railz, Mark O’Donnell, Justin Knudsen on Jack Busch for the 50 over match.
Pat Brandon has been called up after making 63 in the RSL-Pinnington Cup last week while fellow second grader Joe Coles has also been named. The motivation will be high for Souths, with a win over Rugby possibly moving them clear of CYMS as the Cougars are due to face runaway leaders RSL-Colts this round.
Rugby, meanwhile, is set to welcome back NSW Country star Jordan Moran.
