Crawford, who grew up in Narromine before moving to the state’s north coast in 2012, took part in the Trans-Tasman series in New Zealand.
The 20-person Surf Lifesaving NSW Country team finished first overall, with Crawford starring on her way to finishing with seven first place finishes, three second places and a two third places.
“Narromine was my home, it’s where I grew up, it’s what made my. My old swimming coach, Shelly Bayliss, without a doubt made me into the athlete I am today,” the former Narromine Public School student, who credits fellow local product Pat McCutcheon as a hero, said.
“Everything I use today, my dedication to training, my love for competition, my attitude, my sportsmanship and my passion are all things I learnt from Shell.”
