A spokesperson for Hot Off The Press Publicity told the Daily Liberal on Thursday the 68-year-old would still take to the stage on March 4. Earlier reports said Braithwaite would miss the Dubbo show.
The former Sherbet frontman took to Facebook on Tuesday to tell fans he had pulled out of performances at the Australian Open and the Red Hot Summer Tour shows on the Mornington Peninsula this weekend. Braithwaite said he cancelled appearances “due to illness and sudden admission into hospital” but didn’t elaborate.
Shannon Noll will still perform at the Dubbo show despite being charged with assault for an incident outside an Adelaide strip club on Sunday morning.
