Camp Thunder, a two-day camp suitable for both boys and girls, is recommended for children between eight and 10 years who want to emulate their Sydney Thunder heroes.
Sydney Thunder and Australia One Day International (ODI) quick Pat Cummins said the camps would be a highlight of the school holidays.
“Camp Thunder is a fantastic way for kids to enjoy themselves during the holidays,” Cummins said.
“Big Bash cricket is great family entertainment and hopefully we see more boys and girls playing cricket as a result. The camps are all about having fun and who knows, we may even find the next Shane Watson or Alex Blackwell.”
The camp will be run by Sydney Thunder’s experienced and qualified coaches and include a series of different cricket activities.
The two-day camp costs $99 and includes a Camp Thunder shirt, Sydney Thunder drink bottle and wristband.

The Thunder were without Cummins for Saturday’s Big Bash League (BBL) derby against the Sydney Sixers, with the quick busy with ODI duties.
But he wasn’t missed as the men in green ran away to an eight wicket win over their cross-town rivals.
The reigning champions restricted the Sixers to just 9/99, a total they chased down inside 10 overs.
