Show Society Treasurer and site manager for the Elvis weekend, Chris Cole said the hiring of sites during the festival really helps fund upgrades for the Showground.
“We have been able to do the terracing work on the western side, build a new amenities block and do a lot of electrical work,” he said.
Chris said caravans and campers of all descriptions from all over the country are staying at the Showground with every state represented.
“We have a six volunteers greeting visitors and booking them in,” he said. “The thing we really notice is everyone is here for good time.”
