Just shy of 100 people had purchased tickets for the event as of Tuesday afternoon which will see The Rocky Horror Show projected onto a portable cinema screen on the grass area of the facility.
Old Dubbo Gaol operations supervisor, Kim Hague, encourages people to come along and enjoy a fun night out with friends.
“Bring the attitude to have a good time, a bit of a dance and enjoy the movie how it should be enjoyed,” she said. “Staff have been practising the dance so we expect everyone to get up and do the Time Warp.”
Gates open at 7.30pm with the movie to commence on dark.
Food, drinks, a bar facility and seating is available, or you can bring your own chair. The event is open to anyone over the age of 18, although limited tickets remain available online.
