The Salvation Army, who the Ulysses branch partner with for the annual Toy Run, received $1500, while the Dubbo Rescue Squad got $300.
The money was raised from the sale of raffle tickets and gold coin donations made during the Toy Run on December 10.
Following the handover of toys, a social ride to Narromine Golf Club was enjoyed by a large number of participants, Dubbo and Western Plains Ulysses Branch president Jennifer Humphries said.
The Narromine Women’s Shed had prepared a barbecue lunch, and proceeds raised from sale of the event were donated to the Narromine Rescue Squad by the Women’s Shed.
“The committee would like to thank all participants of the Toy Run, NSW Police, Dubbo Rescue Squad, Holcim, Golden West Holden, Narromine Golf Club, Narromine Women’s shed,” Ms Humphries said.
